that look is bad on so many levels- close to those Pendleton pants I found at 6pm.com.

Like these-

One problem is that the pants are lighter and the top is dark, making her look bottom heavy. Then, because she has the pants up near the belly button, it looks like she is short waisted. Finally, because they are tight and she's turned toward the side, it looks a bit sausage casing to me.

It all depends upon your style, comfort level and where you plan to wear these pants. I see a lot of people wearing heels with capris. Just go to a website, like NM or Nordstom and take a look.

casual capris or pedal pushers - casual sandals , sport shoes or flip flops. Dressier capris - a flat dress shoe. I think wearing high heel pumps with casual clothes like capris and a T looks hoochie mama.

I have worn shoes like that (high heeled pumps) once in a while with capris but not shiny ones. I have a thing about big feet; I know mine aren't (5.5 - 6) but I like my feet to look small and in flats feet can look big. MT Moore did look really nice though in her flats and capris. I wear high wedge open-toes with them now, Hoochie Mama

NOT heels! That is the stupidest thing I've seen in many a fortnight!! LOL

I say cute sandals or flats. There are so many cute and colorful summer shoes out already.

These remind me of the Caribbean Joe capris a friend gave me to wear around the house several years ago. They have a drawstring waist so I could keep them on as I lost weight. They finally went in the donate pile not too long ago. I figured that when something is 5 sizes too big I should not wear it even if I can keep it on. They kept getting longer.... lol

Wear whatever shoes are appropriate for the activity of the day. You might wear: athletic shoes for walking all day; sandals for shopping and lunch; thongs for the beach or a picnic; ballet flats for having people over for dinner; wedges or heels for going out to dinner.

Don't worry about anything much but what is appropriate for your FEET at that time. Most of the world will not judge or much notice your feet.

Heels for Capri pants, more casual shoes for cropped. Capri pants and cropped/pedal pushers are two totally different styles of pants.

I have never thought dressy heels like pumps or dress sandals look good with capris or cropped pants.

Casual shoes, flats, or wedges of some kind, look fine. Cork wedges, espadrille rope wedges, that type of heel is fine and looks good.

I especially like this kind of shoe with a cargo type capri or cropped pant. I have a pair of Calvin Klein crops I wear with some cork wedges and I love them together. Not a high wedge, about 2 inches.
