Re: What's up with all these layers

If it's really cold outside, I like a tee shirt and blouse or sweater over but I am not going to normally wear 4 layering pieces. Like you said, too hot.

LOL I have been watching the afternoon show and they look ridiculous. Makes no sense to me. Jacque is so adorable and she looks like a bag lady in those LAYERS!! I have NEVER bought Logo.

Re: What's up with all these layers

I thought this one was cute, but everyone had it on with 2 other layers and its still too expensive, I bought a really cute one to wear with leggings at TJ Maxx for $19.99 plus tax

Re: What's up with all these layers

It looks sloppy and very unflattering on most of them. Carolyn looked like a homeless person that was wearing all her belongings. I've always hated the look of a longer top hanging under a shorter top/jacket, whether it's this LOGO stuff or crop jackets, etc.

Re: What's up with all these layers

sales gimmick. Some people wear 2-3 layers which boggles my mind...they haven't hit that wonderfully warm time of life yet. Otherwise, I think it's a way to try to sell more items.

Re: What's up with all these layers

The TSV is not selling well. There are 6 colors. Only the blush is close to selling out. 1 size in the black is on waitlist and the rest of the colors are all there in all sizes. So LOGO is not as smart as it seems.

Re: What's up with all these layers

Here is what I think I saw happen over the last three years: 1) jeans worn low on hips 2) uh-oh... muffin top sticks out (99.9% of women/girls I have seen have mt) 3) "we have something to "cure" this! We will sell u a skinny tee to pull down while you hike the tops of your pants UP." CURED! yes, tongue in cheek humor

I also find Lori Goldstein's offerings to be just sloppy looking. There is nothing classy about that look at all. Give me Liz Claiborne any day.

I call Lori's Logo line the "homeless/bag lady" look ........... they wear all their clothes at one time to keep warm! On the front page, the model is wearing the pink TSV unsnapped, and she looks like a nurse in a Dr.'s office/hospital with a smock on over scrubs!

I worked in retail a short time and sold Liz Claiborne clothing, and it was first rate back in the late 80's and early 90's! Q's version is still not the old Liz!
