What's up with all these layers

I'm sorry I cannot grasp the concept of layering tops onto other tops. As I lady in my early 50's I couldn't imagine layering. I'm hot enough with one top on Smiley Happy).

Re: What's up with all these layers

I'm OK with a couple of layers, but some of the QVC hosts have taken layering to the extreme with multiple layers plus bulky scarves. I think it's an odd look for indoors.

The multiple layers look sloppy, imo.

Re: What's up with all these layers

I agree that , watching last night, there was alot of layering going on and, yes, sometimes way,way too much. However, yesterday, I wore my LOGO to church . I wore a camisole (not LOGO) under a v-neck tunic and my LOGO cardigan over jeans and boots and looked great! (That is saying something considering how much eating I've done in the last week.) Was very comfortable in our high 50s, low 60s weather that we're having here in southern California right now. Even wore it most of the afternoon in the house and was quite comfortable. That was my limit. I cannot imagine wearing anymore than that. I think that I'd feel like the kid in the Christmas Story with the snowsuit.

I'm in my early 50s and I don't find my Logo layers hot at all. Sometimes I layer my Logo pieces and sometimes I don't. Either way, I love my Logo.

I think both Lori and the host looked sloppy and unkempt in that LOGO clothes they had on. Carolyn topped the mess with a huge scarf....what a mess.

Re: What's up with all these layers

I've layered my clothes for years - it's a look that I like and works for me.

I wore LOGO to church yesterday also ... over a close fitting turtleneck and lustra knit pants. Black/gray/white print LOGO over black top and pants (black ankle boots) and a looooong textured black scarf. Temp was in the 40s and rainy .... it was all topped off with a very bright yellow slicker!

I'm in my 70s ... and that's my look!

I too only wear one top at a time, and I'm a Logo fan!

I'll say it again; they'd sell more tops if they showed at least one model wearing one shirt and a pair of jeans.

I don't layer LOGO. I just wear them alone or with a tank.

I detest that one top they layer with a lot. It doesn't have a straight hem and dips down.

Re: What's up with all these layers

I layer at the most two...tank and top.

I don't care for the tops that dips at the sides, it makes you look larger, as the host this morning looks.

The tank that dips down in the front and back.....no, reminds me of a diaper.

I like the tanks and tops with the chiffon at the bottom, no layering needed.
