Re: What's up with all these layers

If only some of us could see ourselves as others see us, we might well decide not to layer!

I don't layer LOGO. I just wear them alone or with a tank.

I detest that one top they layer with a lot. It doesn't have a straight hem and dips down.

Jackie looked ridiculous wearing those layers, with the longer top you describe, and even Chantelle can't pull that look off. This is not a svelte look. I think Lori has nowhere to go with the layered look, so she just keeps piling on.

It's a certain look and you either like it or not. I think it gives off an artsy, creative vibe that is pretty cool. I, myself, am more of a "corporate", Talbots- type of dresser, but I think the Logo look can be very attractive.

I love her chiffon pieces. I don't layer those.

If you think that is bad what about those thick woolen

scarves QVC was trying to tell was the in thing

to wear this past summer? Yeah right if you want to roast.

They take the layering concept way too far. Carolyn was on with Isaac the other day and she was suggesting wearing 2 cardigans layered. I can't believe Isaac agreed with that.

You can wear the styles without layering. In the presentations, they layer to the extreme. You have to be able to see past that and see each piece on its own.

I never knew how to layer until I watched the Logo shows. I like the look. The lighter weight fabrics layer well and do not add bulk.

Yeah, right. That would be really slimming, wouldn't it...{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Re: What's up with all these layers

I am 51 and love layering. However, not to the extreme where one looks like an over-decorated Christmas tree. I rarely see over done layering in real life. It seems to appear more in magazines, home shopping channels ect. I think it is used to sell certain products and add visual interest, especially for hosts on shopping channels.
