I have been shopping here for a long time and the last few years it seems the direction of the clothes has changed to a more matronly style. There were fashion days where I couldn't stop shopping. Buying something at almost every show. It seems like the designs have changed so much I no longer shop here regularly. Thank God for Logo and Belle Gray. Especially Denim & Co. used to have such cute embellished Denim designs. Now that they have gotten rid of alot of the old vendors I miss buying things at QVC!

I have been buying D&C tops for years and I don't see any major difference in the various styles or quality compared to several years ago.

The hosts have gotten more matronly, but whether the clothes have is hard to say.

I agree. I find the clothes to be matronly and seem to be aimed at large or obese women. But that goes for HSN also.

Goodness, I don't see that the hosts have gotten more matronly. Seems to me that all the new hires for several years now have been far less mature age wise than the existing hosts of long standing. We all get older, if we're lucky enough to keep living!
As for the clothes, I don't see much difference in D&C. Susan Graver has gotten a little more extreme in her prints. I don't pay much attention to her offerings because I can't stand to watch her rude behavior. As for LOGO, it's just not for me - see nothing there I would wear.
Bob Mackie is still just as wonderful as ever, although I don't have a need for his more elaborate designs anymore. I still think they are lovely. And there's Linea, Joan Rivers, and a few others who do great things. Classy designers with classy designs. But matronly I just do not see.

Judging from the sound of the "mature" callers, I'd say QVC was right on. Some even admit to being up there in age. I am not saying the customers are all seniors, but it seems that the lines at QVC that seem to endure are for older women. I can't see the buying audience being Amy or Courtney's age.
As far a matronly hosts, I just don't see that either. They are fine.

I want to add that I don't think the QVC fashions are aimed at larger women, but I think a lot of the clothes are aimed at a retired lifestyle. Some for working women also, like Joan Rivers and Linea. I don't know all the vendors, but that's my take. I would not say the customers are all heavy women, no way.

I do think the styles have changed to much more matronly - So, I agree. Especially the Liz C. line. It ages MBR by a good 10 years.
Do not like Susan's awful prints, or the horrible liquid knit, or Lori's bag lady look. Linea doesn't fit my lifestyle. Isaac's clothes look like Target, but at higher prices. Bob Mackie's designs all look alike to me. And some prints are just bizarre geometrics. Quacker? Just, no. That line screams matronly.
I still like some of D & Co., but even that line can look matronly. I do like the petite pants from WWC, but not the tops so far. I miss Motto.
