Dinner local then off the a local casino to hopefully dance the night away.

Wearing Bob Mackie Crepe Pants, a burnout velvet kimono and not sure what top yet.

Levi's straight leg jeans, a gray Land's End t-shirt and a violet red Patagonia Better Sweater 1/4 zip fleece with the sleeves turned up a couple of times because they don't make petite sizes. I'm going as far as a mile down the road to pick up pizza, I think I can skip the diamonds tonight.

We're going to be outdoors all tonight. Going on a horse and carriage around our cute little quaint town, listen to the band in the park and then view the fireworks over the lake. So I'll be dressing very warm!

I always used to feel that if I wasn't out on NYE I was somehow missing something... Then, one day, I realized all the forced levity and frenzy wasn't something I'd choose to do any longer. We're ordering in and calling it a night... New Year's has never been one of the biggies for me and so I decided to stop trying to make it something that, for me, it isn't...

I hope all going out or dressing up have a great and safe time and those of us happy party poopers staying home have a wonderful time also!

I've never liked New Years Eve that much either-though like another here I had my first date with my husband on New Years Eve. 

Other than that my sister and I would be in bed and count down to each other from 10 til we got to midnight!

In fact that was similar to the one I wore when one of my daughters asked me to drop her off a block from school!  I think I had the same socks and sandals style a few weeks ago to the horror again of one of my daughters! They don't know comfort when they see it lol!
