I read the strange story about Rowland leaving because she wanted the dressing room that was already occupied by Jennifer Lopez. J Lo was there promoting her new album.

I sure would like to hear Rowland's side of the story.

Kelly's been on The Today Show many times.

She and her people know what the dressing room situation is.

I think it was a J Lo situation.

@magicmoodz Thank you for such a sweet compliment- that really made my day - the world needs more MagicMoodzes too! I think that the people I meet on these forums are so thoughful. I've followed Abby and Brittany's story since I was little since they're two years younger than me and I've watched their milestones of learning to ride a bike and drive and getting their careers- I've never met them and yet I'm really invested in them and proud of them. I truly do hope they get married someday, they're such great girls and I hope i get married someday too! My weekend is going really well so far and I'm hoping that you're having the start of a wonderful weekend too!

Aww, thank you for your kind words.💕 I am actually embarrassed that I posted inaccurate facts about Brittany and Abby. I usually do a better job of fact-checking before I make such a bold statement.

I think it is nice that you have followed them over the years. I am not well versed in conjoined twins, but did go down a rabbit hole to better understand them. It is interesting to learn which organs they share and which they do not. I applaud them for the career paths they have chosen--being elementary school teachers.

I have not accomplished much today--I did laundry, Pilates, talked with a sister who is in Mexico and have been binging The Bear on Hulu. Tomorrow is another day. Haha! Story of my life!

@magicmoodz I honestly thought they were married too- the photos looked so real, but I followed a long rabbit hole to find out if they were married and It took me a long time to find that out though since there were conflictiing news pages and everything, so no worries!

Its amazing how conjoined twins share certain organs- and Abby and Brittany are unique in that one can have a stomach ache and the other can't or one can have a cold and the other can't. They're so interesting! I hope that TLC does another special about them.

It sounds like you had a productive day! Laundry, pilates, talking to your sister in Mexico! I've done a lot of cooking- homemade lemon pepper chicken wings and I made some collard kale to go with it. I made some popcorn in my popcorn maker and I'm going to watch some fun movies on Tubi's website. On Monday I'm going to make a lemon meringue pie from scratch since there are a lot of left over lemons from making the marinade. Good times!

Now I am gun-shy to post anything that could be fake news.😄 Before posting that Brittany and Abby are school teachers, I googled the school they reportedly teach at, looked at the directory and saw with my own eyes their picture posted as 5th grade teachers. Haha!

You have had a very productive day cooking. And your lemon meringue pie makes me think fondly of my father--it was his favorite!

@magicmoodz I love that you found the school directory to make certain that Abby and Brittany are stil school teachers - excellent detective work! Abby and Brittany are tough to verify since they don't have any public social media accounts, and believe me- when I thought they were married, I was so excited that I told my whole family! That hoax creator tricked a lot of people.

Yes indeed, my day was very productive- I cook every day from scratch and today I'm making my favorite spicy spice rub to go onto a rack of ribs and maybe some buttermilk biscuits to accompany them. I'm glad that my lemon meringue pie brought you fond memories of your father- it is such a classic pie that people don't make very often, probably from having to beat the meringue for so long- but its a delicious pie that is a crowd pleaser. I use my 1950's cookbook to make it.

Before reading this thread, I had no idea who Kelly Rowland was.

I do, however, know who Jennifer Lopez is and, IMO, she's a class act.

I can't imagine J-Lo throwing a hissy fit and leaving someone in the lurch because a dressing room wasn't of a high enough standard for her. There are several articles about this and the staff on the show said they offered Kelly other options, but she refused and walked out.

Kelly Rowland? She wanted J-Lo's dressing room? Forget it, J-Lo wins hands down.

Great job not promoting the movie she was there to promote. (In the words of another movie quote "Bye, Felicia!") And well done to Rita Ora for stepping up and acting like an adult. (She was on "The View" as well and a great guest.)
