My eye says no to this combo.

If the pant were a print with both colors in it, and another color to bridge them, I might like it.

@ECBG.  I think I know why our eyes are not “pleased”.  The sweater is blue (a cool color) and the pants, a shade of red, is warm. Usually, even in makeup, you’re either one or the other...not both.

Stunning! This is how I do color, also. Surprisingly, I do sometimes get some sideways glances from women, but men love it and often compliment me when I'm out and about. I dress for myself and these kinds of reactions have surprised me.

I worked several years in the graphic arts field, and as I have matured in my fashion skills and confidence, I am pretty fearless.

Color of the pants is fine ... I just finished a sweater that color.   Yarn company called it "Mahogany."  Wearing it with black. because of stitch pattern.  

Forget the color of the top.   I don't like that color at all.
