I dont think I look good in black. Navy, yes. I get compliments from random people when I wear orange. 

My complexion is neutral.

LOL ... I'm a double Scorpio and about 70% of my wardrobe is black.  I look great in it and feel great in it.  I also have many jewel tones, sapphire, ruby, emerald, and turquoise.

I have been interested in this since I was asked to be a model for a salon that was going to carry Color Me Beautiful makeup.

I'm warm with blonde hair and hazel eyes. I try to stay away from cool colors. I look best in the colors of fall - think leaves.

One of the first colors I can think of that I don't look good in is pink. Pastels are not my friend, but I will wear them from the waist down! I do not look good in pure white. 

I never wore black because my mom had me convinced I didn't look good in it. Then I modeled for a charity fashion show and the store owner brought out my outfits. One of them was black. I gave the canned response about how I didn't look good in black. She asked me why not because I was blonde. So I modeled a black dress and jacket.

 I wear black now; I just adjust my makeup to lean more peachy.

I don't feel like I look good in super-bright colors (yellows, oranges, greens, etc.).

I do think bright pinks and fuschias work for me though.

I wear mostly cool colors.  If, however, something makes me look 10 pounds thinner, I will buy it no matter the color!!

The color - mustard - comes to mind.  I think I'm good with most colors.

Purple, especially violet purple. I can wear plum or eggplant. Since going grey I no longer like browns on me. Really bright fushias oranges, lime greens don't work either.

Harsh gold and yellows look bad on my skin, along with lots of the light pinks/corals/oranges that lots of brands on QVC carry. They're kind of skin-toned for me and totally wash me out. As I age and my skin tone has gotten lighter, I find more and more colors that just don't work for me. I do like a very pastel yellow but those colors are few and far between now.
