After watching them play for years in uniforms, it's especially nice to see how these young women express their personal styles.

Style is nice but money is better. Despite having TV ratings higher than the college men this is what the first pick in the WNBA gets in her first year vs the NBA first draft pick. $76,000 for Caitlin Clark, $12.1 million for Victor Wembanyama. Think about it...

Yes I saw on one of the morning shows this morning that Caitlin Clark's Prada outfit for the draft was worth some high amount of money, I think they said her starting WNBA salary would be around 70 K.

And for people who always answer that with revenue ratings and attendance, well women's basketball was huge this year. The women's Final Four ratings were higher.

The WNBA needs more exposure and support. These women are phenomenal athletes.

Her talent will really help Women's basketball.  Currently it's not doing well.  Bankrolled by the NBA.  They help the league suffer through low ratings and low attendance.  Hoping her appearance will help.

@chessylady @As the parent of a player who played international ball in Puerto Rico, I completely agree. I am, however, glad that these women can earn money from corporate sponsors while stilll in school and even more after. We still have a long way to go to reach parity, but our daughter never had even these opportunities.
