Size down, I got mine today in S and XS. I AM A 6-8 and the XS fits great!

I hope I did the right thing in sizing down. I usually wear a medium (12-14), but the "click here" measurements have me at a large in these pants. I sized down to medium. I'm tempted now (after reading all the comments) to order a large petite so I have a pair to wear with flats. Wish the sizing wasn't so complicated with these pants...
