Actually, UPS does not use SurePost anymore. Their contract with the USPS ended in 2024 and they have not renewed it.

UPS has reunited with USPS just recently. UPS is handing over packages to USPS for final delivery. I read that happened in October this year. Read about it on yahoo finance.

UPS usually takes a photo of the delivered pkg(s) so it's verified. At least they do here.

Yes, GroundSaver and Mail Innovations packages are being delivered by USPS. But those aren't working as well as UPS anticipated profit-wise. From what I understand they're still talking with USPS about an arrangement that would better benefit both companies.

I ordered three items on the free shipping day of 11/20. All three were delivered today in perfect condtion, by UPS. I'm happy with that!

Just because they say it's been delivered doesn't mean it has. Not photo? Wait a couple days until it actually is delivered.

A couple of things I found out about UPS....

Sometimes if its late in the day they will mark something as delivered when it hasn't just to fudge that they made all their deliveries on time.

Also, in most areas, when UPS is bombarded with deliveries they pass their deliveries on to USPS in a program called, Mail Innovations....

OMG---UPS has been the absolute worse for me just this past week!! Had them scheduled 3 times for a pick up from my front door-- Monday-Tuesday and then Wednesday they FINALLY got it!! Now usually they come with a label --was a return to AMZ and that is what was written in insructions----but they never showed up--then I found a pre made label in the parcel room in a locker--for that item. So I did stick it to the box and finally--it was taken away. I could have printed it myself but was following AMZ instructions---someone needs to get with the other about this procedure!!!! Luckily--it got delivered back and I got my refund---minus $6 for the pick up---Good grief!!

UPS has been great for me. I get notice that it's out for delivery and the time frame. For yesterday's delivery it said 9:45- 1:45. They were here exactly 1:45. Fed Ex on the other hand is a nightmare. I got notice it was out for delivery, and it never showed up. I get another notice stating delivery not attempted. They gave me a new date, and again the same thing. It took four times before it was delivered.
