I used to buy a great style of trouser jeans that Lisa R. raved about for being the perfect, flattering cut, and they were truly wonderful. I think they MAY have been Denim & Co but I can not remember.
Does anyone recall the jeans?

No I don't remember those--but I did find trouser jeans on HSN by DG2--and have to say--I really like them. Ordered 2 sizes--med and large---the medium fit like a glove ---looked pretty good but I don't like that fit for me, I want a little more room --the large were prefect-- even the length was good at 29 1/2ish-- circumference of leg opening is 20" that sounds like a hge flair--they are not at all and they hit at just a wee bit below the top of my foot. I don't wear high heels anymore--maybe 2 inches is all. Fit nice at my tummy and comfy when I sit. In a nice darker med blue wash. Fabric is soft and stretchy but not enough to stretch out. And I can wash and dry them without any shrinkage. I am exchanging the med for a petite large--am not petite but length was good so we will see .Only thing is--they were on sale and not much in regular was left ---the reason I ordered a petite. Haven't tried DJ2 before--- # is 867-553

"Trouser Jeans"......
Sounds contradictory like "Shoe Glove"

I don't buy clothing from QVC, but I wear mostly trouser jeans. I prefer this style over all others.
They are sold everywhere. Sometimes straight leg jeans are made exactly like the ones called trouser jeans. Same product, different name.
Talbots always has trouser jeans in stock as well as Old Navy. I try to get the ones that don't have a really wide leg. Some do. I prefer the straighter leg type.

I have tried about 27 different brands and types of trouser jeans over the last couple of months and then I remembered the ones I bought years ago from the Q and they really were very nice. The details make them easy to dress up or down they came in several colors of denim and black and were very flattering.

Were the infamous Gumby pants actually trouser jeans? I remember reading about Gumby pants quite often here. I seldom watched her, so I could be mistaken.

After reading all the posts and googling still not sure what is a trouser jean? Lots of different info on line, guessing maybe a wider leg?
Not sure how long Laurie Felt was on QVC and if it was during Lisa R's time or not but she had a nice variety of jeans.
When she was planning on shutting down her jeans division I purchased quite a few pair from the Q, love her jeans and probably "trouser" jeans!

My trouser jean looks like a trouser but the material is a refined dark wash denim. No distressing, no whiskering, no contrast stitching. It has trouser style slash pockets on the front & besom pockets on the bum. The pant is fitted on the waist, bum, and hip with a wider leg all the way down. It's not super wide - don't care for that style. I like to iron a vertical crease down the center of each leg for a more polished look.
My original pair was from Macy's Charter Club brand, but those were too tight so I sold them to a consignment store. I bought a new pair ar Marshall's - d.jeans brand.

@Abrowneyegirl Yes!! I have one pair. I have a friend that is a seamstress and she made them for me. I love them. I had a pair of Pendleton ones years ago and I wore them out. I enjoy a good, fitting trouser jean.

@Abrowneyegirl I don't recall the brand either but Trouser Jeans are my favorite - sadly not to many are made these days. I find most jeans to be to snug to the body, and that is not a look I like.
The trouser jean is a bit dressier a well.
