I like them. I would wear them.

I love my dark wash trouser jeans. Mine look like the second photo. The first jeans don’t have a trouser look IMO. I purchased mine at Macy’s - Charter Club brand. I’m hoping they have more in stock this Spring. Would love to get a white pair.

I've bought a couple pairs of trouser jeans (like the NYDJ pair) over the years. I thought I'd like wearing them to work. Never did. I forced myself to try and always felt like I should have either worn a more typical jean style or worn a trouser pant. No matter what I wore with them, I felt like I was dressed wrong. Can't really explain why I didn't like them other than feeling that they just didn't suit me.

My DG2 trouser jeans (736-342) arrived and I love them.  I just ordered a second color. i can wear 2 sizes in her line. I ordered the smaller size for this item and the fit is perfect.

I like the ones in the original post, but I wouldn't call them trouser jeans.

Also, Ariat is an equestrian brand.  Not just western, but English also.

A few weeks ago I purchased Ariat jeans - they labeled them as trouser (Lucy) but they are just a wider leg, not trouser, like the pair in the OP.  Very good quality IMO.  I have 2 pairs of Ariat boots I love.

But I do love a true trouser jean.

I like a trouser jean, yet I am not sure that I own any true trouser jeans at the moment.  I agree the Ariat pair shown first are basically just a long boot cut jean - they have the traditional 5 pocket styling regular jeans are known for.  The 2nd pair shown look more like a trouser jean to me.

I don't know how to post a pic, but Jen 7 has a pair of white trouser jeans offered thru NM website in which the belt loop area is a tie-belt.  They are $99 and look nice on the model.  I was thinking of ordering but they didn't have my size.

A real trouser jean doesn't come in the knee like these.  The leg is straight, just like dress slacks.

The picture may call them "trouser" but we're seeing modified boot cut.
