Tight clothes from another perspective

First off, I don't care what size the hosts are, it's none of my business. If they choose to misrepresent their size, that is their issue, I can measure myself. However, why wouldn't QVC want to present the garment in the best way possible ?? When the outfit looks good on the model or host, I 'm more likely to take a second look, and imagine how it would look on me.  If the presenter looks stuffed into her clothing, at first glance, I more than likely  will not give it another look. JMO.

On that same issue -  I was people watching the other day and noticed a fairly large percentage of women, especially youngish women, wearing jeans and other pants and tops that I considered too small and unattractive. That included several who were wearing clothes that looked quite new as opposed to old that they might have outgrown.

Maybe I'm more out of what's ok in fashion than I even thought I was.

I agree.  When the hosts are constanly having to pull and tug on the jacket or sweater to keep it together in the front, not only is it distracting, it looks like it does not fit well.

@millieshops Don't worry...You are NOT "out of what's okay in fashion." Some women, e.g., Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, etc., look very good in tight-fitting clothes. That doesn't mean that it's for everyone.

Well-fitted clothes will never be out of fashion.  : )

As far as daytime show ladies go, I think Julie Chen always looks so nice, and her clothes look perfectly fitted.

IMO, if it doesn't look good on the models, it isn't going to look good on me and I immediately discount buying it.

ITA. I hate it when I see women wearing jeans so tight with their hips hanging over & rear hanging out the back. Looks horrible. I would be embarrassed to wear such a thing. If you cannot get your gut & rear in your clothes please buy a larger size so you have something to put it in. Reminds me of a plumber with their rear hanging out of their pants.

Chiming in! Lastest experience. Hot in Hollywood. First off!! I'm not trying to be anyone but ME! Size 16! Not 14! Large is sizing down. Purchased large in bootcut, Couple days stretched out bigtime!! Returned immediately. Last night missed Shawn presentation of HIH baby bell. Watching the video give Q credit having Jacqui model she's close to my body type except hight I'm 5'5, Jacki wore medium still looked loose in her lower leg area. What's the point? Not concerned with vanity size. When spending $$$ on clothes expect to have some longevity, Realize nothing is like it used to be. Come on, Please less than week?!? 😏

That is up to the wearer. I have better things to do than go around looking at what WOMEN wear or how they wear it. Shallow to say the least.

Women building women....pfffttt.

This thread is not talking about any lady walking down the street.  Of course, she can wear anything she likes, anyhow she likes.  And I frankly do not look at nor care how someone is dressed in stores, streets, restaurants etc.

This post was about models and hosts selling clothes shown a TV shopping channel. One of the reasons to have real, live models in a clothing presentations is to show how the fashion item fits that size person.   If the model/host does not wear the clothing properly, it could hurt the sale of that item.  I do not see how a stylist can allow a  model/

host to present a poorly fitting piece of clothing.
