I love some of the SG line of clothes. Just got a skirt in the mail yesterday. It had been through the Q warehouse, the UPS warehouse, and then the UPS truck. When I unpacked it, all I had to do was shake it out a bit and I could have worn it last evening, if I wanted. That's my kind of easy-care. Not to mention that the skirt was less than $40, fits beautifully and I can probably wear it year-round. Went back and ordered two more.

Of course, many of us have different price tolerances. There are other lines at the Q that I won't even bother with. But to me, they have something for everyone.

As Lolakimono illustrated above you can find tops similar to the ones Susan Graver offers for far less. Whether QVC's cost is too steep for you depends on your personal budget, sensibilities, and shopping criteria. I will shop for better buys, because I can virtually always find things I like just as well at a better price. If you like SG's styles that much, think they're worth the price, and don't want to spend time shopping around, QVC and Ms. Graver will be happy to keep you as a customer.

But they're not similar. They're cheap and not of the same quality. If one cannot afford to shop at QVC then I suppose one would have to make do with such substitutes.
