Re: “Tearing off Bra” When You Come Home

@Meowingkitty  I've done that. Woman Wink Right through the armhole.

Nowadays, I only wear a bra when going someplace. I take my shoes and bra off the minute I get home. I like to hangout in my nightshirts. I have small breasts and don't really need a bra per se.

Yep! I belong to the, "get that thing off of me, as soon as I get home club!" I remove my bra and my rings and shoes. While I don't find them uncomfortable during the day, I can't stand to have them on at home. I never wear a bra unless I'm going out and never sleep in one! I would love to be able to wear a step in bra. I tried one once but being a plus size curvaceous gal, I had a hard time getting it up over my hips and derrière!😃

No, never tear off my bra when I get home. I don’t wear uncomfortable bras. I wear a bra all day up until I take my shower and change into my pj’s . I am in and out of the house multiple times a day. Need to wear a bra.

My bras are comfortable so I don't need to remove them once I'm home.  I wear a bra at home since I do step out to walk my doggies.

I used to wear only Victoria Secret bras.  Now I wear inexpensive bras from Target.

They are the bras that have no clasps.  You just pull them over your head and pull them down over your chest.

Seems like it would be much easier to step in instead of pulling them over your head.

I step in all my cami's.

@Enufstuff I totally agree about Birkenstock at home.  They are my go to shoe for "house shoes" until the weather gets really cold and then I go to shearling.  I like wearing caftans at home and have several Stan Herman.  He does a really nice caftan in my opinion.

This reminds me that I am a "flower child" type that had long straight hair and was very outspoken about womens'.  But I never attended bra burnings and always wore a bra!  Yep, I was the hippie girl always in a bra.

Re: “Tearing off Bra” When You Come Home

@San Antonio Gal Oh my gosh your post brought back memories.  Loved going into Victoria's Secret and looking at the lingerie and buying panties.  I wore their balconette underwire bras for years.  I finally discovered that I liked the Target bras that really fit me better and were so much less expensive.  I could buy newer ones when they wore out and they actually had more options for me.  I wore Target bras until I started wearing Rhonda Shear's pin up style bras.  I first tried the Ahh bra and the Genie bra and these worked for me if I got the heavier versions that Rhonda sold on HSN.  But the pin up is still in my rotation.

Just as an aside, I put on a new Evelyn & Bobbie bra yesterday (the last TSV with mesh).  Yep it was  tight at first and I had to pull it a bit when I first put it on.  It's molded to my shape now and very comfortable.  I step into the Ahh, Genie and Pin Up styles.  I actually got a sport bra stuck on my arms at a Belk's one time.  I almost clawed myself to death to get that thing off me.  Was seriously considering called the sales associate for assistance.  Never pulled another bra over my head.  Terrified to even think about it.

LOL!!! I was walking down the hallway taking my bra off when I got home from the grocery store.

I can't wait to get it off. I also can't wait to wash the makeup off my face.

I hate bras. When I do wear one I only wear Rhonda Shear. I'm not wearing one unless I go some place.

I remember taking them off on the way to school. I would stuff it in the glove box.

Re: “Tearing off Bra” When You Come Home

When I worked, I would change into my jammies as soon as I got home-so off went the bra!  I don't remember my bras as being particularly painful since I had to change from wearing underwires because they did cause me pain. Occasionally, when I wore a new bra, a strap would rub or irritate me. Now that I'm retired, I don't wear a bra at home. If I'm going to be outside doing yard work or going for a walk, then I wear one.
