I love Talbot's because they carry a Woman's Petite size and the pant and skirt length in WP is perfect for me. I am a Heritage girl and no no matter what I order in skirts and pants I know that the Heritage is perfect for me.

I was just in Talbots' on Saturday and saw the blush pink it is lovely. The store I was in was having a great sale, 60% off already marked down clearance. I got a white cardigan with 3/4 sleeves for $21, and a black and white striped fly front cardigan with the drapey longer in front styling for $12.{#emotions_dlg.tt1} I am tall and love that I can get long inseams there.

Talbot has pretty clothing, but it's too conservative to me. Plus it more for older women. Our store is still open in the mall. I had heard at one time they were going to close.

I'm 58 and I've been shopping at Talbots since I was 5. I think their clothing runs to the more conservative, but I don't think it's for older women only. In my 20's and 30's, I'd buy my work clothing from there- suits, skirts, blouses.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

My version of Talbots is Ann Taylor. That's where I buy nice suits, dress paints for work. I also shop at Nordstrom. I have never shopped at Talbots. I see what they have in their window. Never go in. Chico's is another one. Lovely jackets, but that's it. Too conservative.

I have a u neck t-shirt in pink, not sure it's the blush though. My closet is almost entirely from Talbots. I buy when they have the big sales and the prices are really low. They also carry shoes in narrow widths, so I have lots of Talbots shoes too. I don't know what I'd do if they went out of business.

My closet is 90% Talbot's. Their clothes fit me so well and the quality is there. I would be naked if they ever went out of business.

I haven't purchased anything from Talbots in just over a year. I bought two lace pencil skirts and a bunch of close-fitting rayon/nylon sweaters last August, have worn them through three seasons, and just don't see anything recently that appeals to me.

I was a loyal shopper for years and years when I wore suits to work, bought so much that I got the black credit card status, and used to haunt our local store every month or so. But they closed our store, the new catalogs aren't what they used to be, and the last time I opened one all I could think to myself was that it looked like Pendleton. I also noticed a downgrade in some of the materials - more polyester and acrylic than ever before. My favorite Talbots pieces are from the season or two when they went out on a limb and offered more fashion forward styles, such as the leopard print coat that was featured on one of the fall covers.
