I hate them, and usually cut them out if I can without damaging item.  It's a way of advertisement I guess.

The tag is a way of advertising but sometimes how to care for the garment is there somewhere too.

I don't like sewn in tags but because it makes the clothes look cheap.  No one has ever asked to see the tags in,my clothes.  I don't like them because they often feel it's and scratchy.  Just this morning I snipped the tag out of sweater because it was aggravating me after just 20 minutes wearing it.  But tags are not a deal breaker for me because I can snip them out with my manicure scissors.
