The QVC sizing chart for the TSVsays a size 28 hip measurement is 57" . The tsv has a hip measurement of 53.5" That means just to get them stretched onto you they would be stretched out 3 1/2 " - which I doubt they can do, and then they would leave no room at all for you to move in them. Ridiculous! Not to mention how truely ridiculous anyone looks in clothing that is stretched out like that on your body.

I already received my antique blue jeans on Thursday and wore them all day yesterday. After walking, sitting, doing this & that all day that any of us typically do, my jeans did not at all stretch out in any area. After sitting for periods of time, they did not bag out in the knees either. The fabric is anot really like typical denim as we know it. It's a lighter weight, a woven fabric because it's black on the inside. I was surprised at this when I rolled/cuffed the bottom of them because I love to do this to be more causal sometimes. I thought this odd at first but I also thought later that if I work black shoes and wore the right top, this would look fine to me.
I love these new jeans, I ordered 2 pr of the colored ones and I also bought a 2nd pr of this light antique blue - love this color as a change from the dark denim which I have tons of as well black. BTW - I bought size 6 regular in all of the ones I got and they fit perfectly in every way. I'm 5'4" 127 lbs.

I'm a curvy size 18/20; I don't wear slim leg jeans but if I wanted these pants, I'd go up a size. If you can't, the jeans just aren't for you. Not that I ever look at garment measurements. I go by body measurements and I rarely have any size problems.

I agree... I never use the Q's standard size chart. I always go to the individual measurements given for each apparel item.

I go by garments measurements and my own body measurements.
They don't look skin tight on any model I've seen. They look like they have a lot of stretch.

I do better buying just an XL when offered. I am not a fan of numerical sizing. Has more to do with my age and how my body as shifted. Not worth the price of S/H for me to "guess" my size.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'd rather a letter size. I always guess wrong with the numeric, even though I use the size chart. My size tends to be in between two numbers, then I have to decide to go up or down.

I think the true denim ones would be a size-up situation just from my experience with close-fitting jeans in this category. I have some rag and bone skinny jeans and I had to size up one size on those.
On another note, I didn't like how the colors fit on any of the models in the thigh area, they puckered, even Rachel, so I cancelled my order for the charcoal.

That is the point - the body measurement is 3 1/2 " SMALLER than the body size stated on QVC's size chart for the same size. If they have enough stretch in them to accomplish that I don't think I would want to wear them for long, and that would absolutely not be an attractive look.

@151949, look at the "click here" measurements for the individual garment, not the QVC general sizing chart. That's not going to reflect the sizing on a particular item.
