I ordered these today in the brown. The toe doesn't seem to bother me, at least in the pictures. I haven't watched any presentations though. I have to admit that the toe up a little appeals to the klutz in me. I've tripped over my own toe before {#emotions_dlg.huh} Uhh, maybe I shouldn't admit to that on a public board??? Maybe these will help us klutzes?

I also plan to wear these with bootcut jeans, not skirts or leggings. Maybe they will look like elf shoes? I'll be a very comfortable elf I hope Smiley Wink

Hey, I agree about the color. I might have considered multiple pairs if the navy and gray colors were all navy and all gray. I'm not interested in black or merlot.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} So identify with your klutz comment--"another tripped over my own toe gal"here...it gave me a giggle..so what the heck...however, cannot get into the boots just now...105 + with the heat index here..

I feel your pain Annpete! Nothing like falling on your face in front of a group of people at a conference. Those darn carpets! Honestly, I wasn't drinking.......yet Smiley Wink

As to weather, it's starting to heat up again in PA although not as much as where you are! I just have to buy my fall stuff when I can get my size since my wide feet with high insteps are hard to fit. Believe it or not I have much better luck ordering shoes from QVC than going to B&M stores. I can try on 10 pairs and not find a thing yet usually every pair I order from QVC fits. I'm lucky!!

Stay cool and enjoy the summer when you can. It will be gone before we know it!

Re: TSV - What is it with the toe of this boot?

I think part of the issue with the color is that the suede and leather reflect the light differently and photograph differently. They did say that the leather on the gray boot had a mushroom appearance at some angles, but mushroom to me at least is a grayish brown. Guess I'll find out when my gray boots arrive!

I'm okay with the look of the toe. I like the overall shape of the boot, but I don't like the two-tone look. Except for the black, the other choices all look mismatched to me.

I bought almond - I have too many pairs of black boots! It's difficult to match 2 different types of leather exactly, but I thought the lighter brown shade was REALLY close.

Re: TSV - What is it with the toe of this boot?

For those wondering about the color of the gray and the navy, this is part of my Post #19: The rep also said that the navy was coming across as purplish leather, but that the leather was definitely blue.

Thank you... I just cancelled the order. I'm just sick of returning things so I won't even bother. I have my other two pairs from last year and they're great....

Sorry for the bold... it won't turn off...

I think the toe 'going up' is more of the lug sole curving up. The reviews that are posted are very good- I'm looking forward to a boot with a great footbed & arch support!

Re: TSV - What is it with the toe of this boot?

I thought about ordering these when my team lead shared her insider information with me last month. The color discrepancy made me wonder if I was getting glaucoma or something. I viewed the item on two different computers and thought it was my eyes.

I am so grateful that I'm not the only one seeing it - whew!

That color looks rather well matched in some, but not all photos. There might be a bit of color difference between different pairs. I hope yours are keepers.

They are designed like Western stable or corral boots

I thought the boots were cute, but I could tell they were going to be a little on the wide side for my medium to narrow foot. I probably would have ordered the almond since the coloring seemed to be most consistent.

Re: TSV - What is it with the toe of this boot?

I do notice the toe design & LOVE it, very modern!!!.... This grandma can't wait to wear these boots, all 5 colors I ordered. I expect them to be as cute, comfy & supportive as all my other Earth boots I purchased last year. One last thing, when my plantar fasciitis flares up, I put any of my Earth boots on, relaxes my arches right up so I can walk again without pain.
