I love that purse. The jackets are pretty. Lots of blues and pinks,  my best colors to wear.

Flouncy sleeves and bows are still in, apparently.

@peachesncream, I don't mind a simple little flounce sleeve here and there, but some of them just don't call to me.

Speaking of sleeve styles, though, I saw a beautiful paisley sweater there, but it has long bell sleeves. I guess I'm too much of a slob, but they would drive me crazy trying to keep them out of my soup. :-) Here it is:

That's a very pretty print! I love paisley.

I have to admit, I've passed up a few things lately, just because of flounced or flared sleeves. I already have a few, and I don't want to overinvest in the trend.

Spring preview book is available at the TalbotsPR website.

Every once in a while, and today is one of them, I can't seem to find the site that lets me look at ALL the items for Spring 2018

I was also unable to access it so I googled Talbot spring look book 2018 (this way exactly) and the images came up on google.  Otherwise I, too, was unable to access it with the information given.

@peachesncream, yes, some trends can outlive their day fairly well, but I'm not so sure about flounce and flare.

I love paisley, too. I think I have almost all Talbot's paisley sweaters and and a tee, to boot.

I must agree.  Even though I work for TAlbots I am getting a bit tired of seeing the oversized flounce sleeves.on everything.  I have managed to limit my purchases of that style to one sweater as I do not want to get stuck with a lot of items with those sleeves when that fashion trend dies as it surely will.

Re: TAlbots Spring Look Book is available

I loved almost everything.  The triple flounce sleeves were a little too much (Ihave single and double flounce sleeve apparel that I love) but everything else is fabulous.  I didn’t find anything too young unless the hems are very short.  I don’t wear short skirts ar my age (50’s) .  Loved the dresses, shoes, little handbag and especially the blue tweed jacket with jeans. I also love the colors which work great on me.    I have to say, since the Sycamore Company purchased them a few years ago, they really brought Talbots back to life.

I wonder how some of these flouncy sleeves work under a cardigan or jacket. Wouldn't they be sort of bunched-up?

Speaking of sleeve styles,  I recall seeing a couple on Talbots' site that reminded me of Seinfeld's puffy shirt. If you were a Seinfeld fan, you probably remember the episode.

I exaggerate a little. :-)
