For all those Susan critics, she seems to get more beautiful all the time.. Albany is gorgeous, yet Susan looks more lovely! Wow! Go Susan! Wish I could afford more things today! So many cute things!

I don't wear anything 100% polyester because I am very active and find it hot and uncomfortable. Chicos may have beautiful clothing in polyester but I prefer natural fabrics that breathe.
But I applaud Susan's business sense and knowing what her target audience want...I am simply not one of them.

Yep and what amazes me is the people complaining about it probably barely stay out of doors very long anyway and spend most of their time in the air conditioning. LOL
Do they wear tank tops and short shorts in the "heat"? Doubtful. LOL
No tank tops and short shorts here....just cotton and linen leaving me cool and comfortable.![]()

I do like to wear tank tops and shorts, but there is a time and place for a dress like the TSV. While I love the postings of Lolakimono, and do but things like this. I wear layers like logo, actually anything I look nice in... And have so much great shopping nearby I will say, I like to add an occasional liquid knit dress. My wardrobe is pretty good sized. And I take very good care of my things, keeping certain things for literally decades, still looking new. I have an at least ten year old liquid knit dress, tank style with just a small gather at the bust in brown, snd I wear it once or twice a spring summer season. It is a funny thing that stuff wears like iron. Believe me, I am going to look adorable in the one I chose! Dressing oneself is a creative process, and comfortable, hard working fabrics are always an asset to ones wardrobe.

Let's face it. SG works for many, and for many others she doesn't. Doesn't mean she doesn't produce a desireable product, that some don't care for it. That she is personally insulted frequently on the forums doesn't mean she is any of the things hurled her way undeservedly. It does mean something though, but not about her. She's not perfect, but she's great, imo! I don't care if you don't agree. I wouldn't buy/wear every style she offered if you paid me, but I will buy/wear some. There is tremendous variation in her line, not so of some of the others.
It gets so bleak here sometimes that I get weary of the constant negativity. There is a way to constructively criticize that doesn't require personal insult to host and/or vendor or to consumer either. Some of every line presented deserves criticism, and some stuff that takes place with the hosting also deserves criticism. But I wish the stuff that we all recognize and know in our hearts as unnecessary would just quit. I know I work on it.

And not to mention the shape of the dress. I could get my whole family in one of those tents comfortably. I agree with you the prints on those dresses gave me a laugh.
@apple1964 ITA! Tent dresses... loud prints... hits just at the point on the leg where is is the most unattractive length on anybody. This dress is embarrassing... I would not even call it old lady as no old lady I know would wear it. The young models look silly wearing such a dress. You know they would not be caught dead in such a dress outside of their modeling job.
Your so right! Have a great day![]()

@skuggles- at times Susan gets to be overly excitable and whatever else people find distasteful but she knows her clothing stitch by stitch, she stands the test over time and her items sell. I don't have a lot of her clothing but what I do have is good quality and I get complements when I wear them. She knows a lot about fashion. I don't watch HSN anymore as the quality, IMHO, is sincerely lacking. But I couldn't sleep and flipped the channel last night. There was a lady on who made Susan look calm. Her name was Kim and she was hawing scarfs which were in the $300 range, I believe and a handbag with roses on it. She was rude, screaming and unpolished; the host comments were limited to "wow" "right". A very unpleasant presentation and at least with Susan you get product information and she seems pleasant and the hosts/models appear to like her. Susan is a saleswoman and vendor. I just turn down the volume when she gets to me.
