That was fun to watch.  Luckily there was a poster here who let us know about the interview last week.  Otherwise I would have missed it.  Stan Herman is a national treasure!

@MagggieMay Oh, thank you for posting this...I just sought it out on YouTube and watched.

I love Stan Herman. What a very young 95 y.o. He really sounds 75 when you look at him and he talks in that video. God Bless him...he seems like the nicest soul.

What a smart man to take that uniform opportunity and run with it. Maybe another designer would have felt it was beneath them...but  that turned out to be his bread & butter, and he's proud of it, as he should be! I learned so much in that clip...I had forgotten he did some uniforms but had no idea how many iconic ones he's done.

My mom loved his robes and I'd bought her some for gifts too. They always looked so good on her, flattering, feminine and so comfortable and cozy for her.

I bet his book is interesting too. Tks for posting this.
