I am surprised QVC showed no fringed belts, shoes, bags, etc since it is such a big spring trend. On Lisa's new Fashion Trends Blog, she is showing lots of fringe for Spring. I liked all the items but would not wear some of them as they would not be age appropriate for my old bones. But I did like the jewelry, bag and shoes. It is different.

I'm not nuts about fringe on clothing and purses, trendy or not. It's ok on a throw, but that's it for me.

I don't like fringe on shoes or bags ... but I love it on other stuff. I had some suede boots with fringe - but I cut if off after a while. It was annoying when I walked. I have a red suede jacket with fringe that looks fab. I've probably had the jacket about six or seven years.

I recently bought a silk scarf with tassels, and I'm making a couple of things for spring that have fringe or tassels. One wrap has fringe that's almost 12 inches long! Dramatic! One of the crochet vests has tassels.

Actually, I'm seeing more tassels than fringe when I'm looking through pattern books.

I'm at the age where no matter what I wear is appropriate ... as long as I say it is! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Been there, done that back in high school! If you have that kind of money to buy really trendy things that are in style for two weeks, go for it!! I'll pass on that look, doesn't matter who blogs about it! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I have one clutch with a fringe tassel. That's adequate for my needs for fringe.

Is this Lisa's new job; writing fashion blogs?? Was this the big reveal? Did she say?

Her FB page is quite boring lately, I stopped checking in on it. All her posts are about food, food, and more food. And if not that, then it's sunrises & sunset pictures & lots of selfies or workout pics. Just blah stuff.

I agree. I don't normally go to her FB page, but I have a few times since she left. It's ALL about food! It's WEIRD.

Somehow I can't get past the image I have from childhood of those cowboy shirts with fringe on the arms. Just can't do it.
