What do you think of these Spring Fashion Trends for 2021?

I tend to buy and wear classic pieces, but I still like to see what the trends are for each season. I’m old enough to have seen most trends come & go & come back again. I will buy things that are on trend if I like them.

The trends I would wear are marked with 👍. Not too many this season that appeal to me.

According to Vogue:

Mini skirts & short shorts

Wide leg roomy trousers in neutral, neon colors, & bold prints

Swirling, psychedelic prints

Textural stripes

Vintage inspired graphic prints

Curve hugging tops 👍

Body conscious clingy dresses

Tops unbuttoned to mid chest

Crafty hand made & painted pieces including tie dye & crochet

Voluminous sleeves

Mimialist ribbed knitwear 👍

Classics in new colors 👍

According to Who, What, Wear:

Regency era prints & silhouettes

Bubblegum pink color

Eyelet

Corsets

Long necklaces 👍

Exposed backs

Tutus & lots of tulle skirts in various lengths

According to InStyle:

Belts worn at mid section 👍

Bralettes worn as tops under cardigans

Black & White 👍

Bright colors worn together

Voluminous shoulders

Matching printed pants sets - top & bottom same print

Chunky flats

Maxi dresses

Checkerboard prints

Love the crochet and would love a vest done that way as long as it didn't have too much going on.

Long necklaces and belts are my style elements, so good there.

I do like eyelet as long as it isn't too "sweet".

It will be SO much fun to see the color! Some of Pantone's colors are rather "muddy".

Looks as though I'll be buying little and saving much this spring. Many of those trends seem best suited for the very young. I can't imagine wearing any bra whose name ends in "lette".

these are ones i am interested in.......and i prefer NOT having too many classics in my wardrobe. i dont really consider these trends either because i already have some of these in my wardrobe. i think very little is "out" these days because everything seems to be "in."

How funny! "Bubblegum pink."

I just finished last night a crochet sweater in a bubblegum pink shade ... and two weeks ago - a shrug in a variegated pinks. I don't normally wear pink, but I came across some yarn last Spring and was attracted to the colors! And, last night - I cast on for a top-down sweater in pinks.

Crochet is a natural .... I have a lot of crochet lace vests. Knit and crocht pieces are a "thing" with me.

Black and white are standard for me.

None of the other things listed apply to me.

Saw one episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City where Meredith Marks wore a bizarre looking outfit which had oversized shoulders like a witch outfit that was very tight corset fitting reminiscent of an English Victorian ? style and the color , I don't remember if it was purple black . Your list must explain her starnge outfit .
