I'm thinking of getting the TS sporto boots but am having a hard time picking a color! I like the white but worry about them getting dirty in the dirty slushy snow, I think I'm choosing between the black and navy. Probably the navy because I like the brown trim. I live in northern Michigan definetly need some warm everyday winter boots. If anyone has similar boots, are they heavy and/or clunky boots?

Thanks to imaclotheshog, abbeythe8th and aprilskies for the information on Sporto boots from BonTon. I followed your instructions and ordered a pair. Also, I registered at Mr. Rebates in the process, so will save in the future. I have other pairs of Sporto and am well satisfied with them. Warm, waterproof boots are a must where I live.

Two different styles; the Sporto boot is a snow/cold weather boot and the Bare Trap boot is a fashion boot. I like them both but I won't buy either one. I don't need or even want another pair of boots. I have too many to count now.

Hi Bon. They do look nice. I was just surprised at the price. The black is not on sale btw just the Taupe. I got a sale flyer from Macys and I was looking at some things online which led me to look at more sale things online and you know how that goes. lol You know when you find a steal you have to tell everyone.

I have several pairs of Sporto boots and I think they are nice boots for the price. I've paid around $60-75 ?? or so for mine, I think in the past. They are great for keeping your feet warm in cold weather especially when it's cold and wet and you don't want to wear a tall rainboot. Of course in snow I don't know, you'd likely want a tall snow boot for serious snow probably? If the snow is deeper than the booties you're wearing, you'd have a problem I would think.

The thing I like about my Sportos is that they look more like regular boots, they keep your feet warm with their thermolite lining. I have some really nice pairs of leather ankle boots, but sometimes when it's cold I can't stand to wear them because my toes just get so cold no matter what kind of socks I wear. I can't stand cold feet or toes. And yes I've found that the ones I have are true to size and they are comfortable.

Well, I've decided to order -- for this price, it's hard to pass up. I'm going up a 1/2 size like I do with all my other ankle boots. Thanks again, Clotheshog, Sporto (or Bon Ton) should give you a commission.... you've made them some sales today!!

Do you ladies recommend that I size up a half size on Sporto boots? I'm interested in both the HSN TSV and the BonTon boot. TIA

I wouldn't recommend sizing up. I sized up 1/2 size on my last Sporto boot order from HS because of the reviews. They were too big, even with a fluffy sock, so I had to return them.

I have more boots and specifially, more Sporto boots than I could ever use or need. So I'm not buying the Sporto TSV at HSN or the Bare Traps TSV today at QVC either. I just don't need either of these.

Speaking of Sporto boots, this is funny timing, because I found these while looking online at Veterans day sale items and found these at Bon Ton.

They are the Sporto Darla ankle boots and the Taupe color only is on sale for under $20. No kidding, they really are. So if you are searching for an all weather ankle boot these look like a steal. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone is interested. I don't know if this is just an online sale price, or if this same boot is the same price, in th

Thanks so much for the great tip! I just ordered DD a pair for Christmas, but, knowing me, I probably will cave and give them to her right away. She's an EMT and they will be good for grabbing on a call.

Have a happy!

edit I ordered through CS, same price, free shipping.

I'm surprised that so many people are sizing up...I purchased last years version with the pompoms. I initially ordered my regular size but they were too big so I returned them and had to get a half size down.

I have about 10 pairs of Sporto boots and they are my favorite. I do size up a half size in boots because I want extra toe room but you don't have to. I tried their other upscale brand too that HSN carried and I agree they were too tight in the toe area. Cute but narrow. Famous Footwear has great sales during this time of the year and you can buy one and get half price off the second pair even on sale. Free shipping. I bought most of mine online there because they were cheaper than HSN.

I have the white and they don't get dirty. My first pair lasted me 15 years and that was wearing them to the dog park and lake.
