Tonight, The Countess of Wessex attended the premiere of a film in support of the NSPCC. The film, Sulphur & White, is about childhood abuse, which the charity seeks to prevent; the Countess is their patron.

After being pictured on the red carpet, Sophie then spent time with the cast of the movie, which is centered around the real-life story of British banking executive David Tait who was abused by his father, as well as a local shopkeeper, as a child.

Earlier in the day, Sophie visited the new premises of Central School of Ballet in London.
The Countes also opened The Countess of Wessex Studios, named in her honour, at Paris Garden in Southwark. Central School of Ballet is a classical ballet school based in London.
The Countess is Patron of the CSB School.
Sophie's coat is from Max Mara.
