Thinking of this topic as I was getting dressed earlier .. I have a (casual) meeting this afternoon.

  • Navy blue slacks,
  • Sleeveless white turtleneck
  • Blue/white print "shacket."
  • Silver sneakers.

Topped off with my black straw hat!  (sun protection)

                          It might rain - so I have a poncho in the tote.

@ALRATIBA

Sounds like a very nice outfit. I'm sure you look great in it. Hope your meeting goes well. Have a Great Day!

Yes, I wear solid white tees frequently during the summer. Wear them with shorts, skorts, and jeans. No third piece topper. If the white shirt is sheer I wear a camisole underneath.

I have many solid white tops--and many that have a white background with a little something mixed in--I wear them year round----

I wear a lot of white tops in the summer, and I almost always have to wear a camisole or tank underneath.

I love a nice, crisp white shirt though!

Re: Solid White Tops - Am I the Only One?

Love white tees / shirts / blouses.

Dare I mention that I'm not a fan of too much white fabric hanging down underneath tops.

Those 'two for' types of print and solid color tops with a lot of white shirt hanging way below the bottom back side of the top.

That 'throws off' the look, imo.

I do like darker trims/fabric that hang below the top, though.  Just not too much white showing.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
