I just can't believe that the hem rolls evenly and does't unravel after a few washings. I'm super short and can't wear even petite maxi dresses without getting them altered, so this would be perfect - I just don't believe it.

Did you watch the video? It's irrelevant to my post because it only shows it full length and not cut.

I had a pair of pants with this same concept.  When I bought them they had a 31" inseam.  I could not cut them straight. (I even drew lines) I used sharp scissors but it was so hard to get an even cut.  They ended up being crop pants. (and a mess at that)

 

What a waste (and they were not inexpensive) of money.

Well, the idea is the knit won't ravel when you cut it. And knit do tend to roll up at the cut edge. But would it roll up the same all around? Or would that be noticeable? Interesting idea.
