@rhinovodka  OK, thanks.  I'm not on Facebook but did access the website.  The model looks like Donna from HSN.

@kaydee50   That is definitely Donna.  I think the blonde is Jackie Schaefer.

I still have many of my Slinky items along with Carolyn Strauss.  They have held up well.

Slinky was around when Cervelle fashions and AJ Valenci shoes were there on HSN a long time ago. Storybook Knits, too.

Yes the Slinky lady spoke loud!  I brought Slinky, then Carolyn Strauss and Citinits which if I remember correctly was a tad heavier. All three brands were perfect for traveling and kept me cool even in the hottest places.  They all wore like iron and the colors never faded.  I think I donated my last few pieces because after I lost weight they were too big.

@Luvitorleaveit1   LOL...Funny you mentioned wearing Slinky while being overweight.  I wore a # of slinky outfits for YEARS, especially at work where I always maintained a "professional" appearance. Very comfortable clothing, easy to maintain and travel with (I went out-of-town on business a lot).

18 years ago, I lost 100 lbs and have kept it off (maybe lost a little weight).

The FIRST THING I did upon reaching my goal weight was donate or discard ALL MY SLINKY clothes never to return to the brand.

I haven't thought of Slinky in a LONG WHILE!!

Re: Slinky Brand

[ Edited ]

I believe the presenter for this line was also the designer. I think she was a former plus size model and then started Slinky. I think it was very similar to famous "liquid knit."

Think her name was Carolyn Strous...

This was also around the time of Daniel Kiviat and Maggie Sweet..I loved that line and still have a top that I wear to this day. Quality was way better back then.

@pdlinda - what a memory from the past.   I too haven't thought of or about those brands until this post.

Yes I brought Maggie Sweet byDaniel Kiviat too, those items were donated many years ago too, another brand that held up well over the years.
