Sizing question about new items

I noticed that the new pebble crepe boho skirt has a relaxed waist of 30 in the size medium. I have purchased other linea items in size medium, but I wonder if this will be tight. Also, the new tweed shell has a chest circumference of 37.75 inches. This is smaller than other medium shells that I have. Any thoughts about the sizing. I hate to purchase more than one size if not necessary.
