I ordered from Berkshire Homewear and Denim & Co and the sizing is way off.  I usually wear a PXL at QVC and J.Jill so that's what I ordered for Berkshire Homewear French Terry Cardigan & Flare Pant Set.  It's huge.  When I ordered it there were no reviews, now there is and the writer says it is huge!  I'll be exchanging that one. I also ordered 2 Denim & Co sweaters and sized down based on reviews.  One turned out pretty well in the Large but the other I could have gone down 2 sizes to a medium.  Of course that one is now sold out in the color I want.  Smiley Frustrated

@Wobin.  Did you check the garment measurements before you ordered?  I always do and never have a problem.

I did but didn't trust that I could wear a Medium.  The sweater was supposed to be a relaxed fit but this is really relaxed.  I guess I'll have to trust the garment measurement next time.

It is so frustrating- throw in the occasional relaxed fit vs. semi-fitted etc. Looked at LL Bean catalog today & they still make tops so short and without accessible garment measurements. Buyer beware.

I don't understand why people just assumed they wear a particular size.  I buy most of my clothes from QVC and HSN and I use the body size chart EVERY time I buy something.

@Wobin

Sorry your clothing items didn't work out for you.

It can be difficult and a bit risky to order clothing online. I really prefer to shop in person & try things on in a store just for that reason, but I know not everyone has access to lots of stores nearby like I do.

I always check garment measurements before I order anything online from any retailer. Even if I think I know my size because I've ordered the brand before, I still check the garment measurements. I also like to read reviews about sizing, but if they're aren't any reviews up, that obviously doesn't help. I hate returning things.

I wanted to order a SG ponte dress the other day, but they had no measurements up for it so the Q lost a sale from me. I wasn't going to take a chance without that information.

Hope you have better luck ordering next time.
Have a good weekend!
