I really wish QVC could address the problem with sizing issues. I absolutely hate to have to return items; however it seems to me that the sizing discrepancies are getting worse than ever. I like a lot of QVC's fashion and purchase quite a bit; however it used to be less frequent for me to have sizing problems; however now it seems like sizing differs not only from llne to line but even within the same line--sometimes even when ordering the same item. Anyone else frustrated with this problem? I want to continue to be able to order clothing from the Q as I like much of the fashion but don't want to have to keep returning, exchanging, etc.

I have problems with the sizing too--I usually get 2 sizes, just in case. that's why I have stopped buying clothes here or anywhere really. Will go in person these days.

I always go by the size chart for each individual item. Sometimes I'm a Medium and sometimes a Large for tops. Bottoms I'm usually a small.
However there are times when I have returned since the fit was still bad.
Last year I purchased a top from Talbots in person. I liked it so much I bought the exact same top in two different colors (same size as well) online. They were very different in size when I received them!

I won't buy any garment from QVC unless I can see the actual measurements. I learned that years ago buying LOGO that the sizes vary even within a brand.
I know my critical measurements like bust, inseam, or waist (stretch items include the extended waist measurement) Then you take into account the fabric if it has any spandex, etc. I haven't returned an item for size in years, and I have bought everything from extra small to large because they do vary within the brand and certainly from brand to brand. I find the size chart meaningless.

@patticakes Since you asked, no, I really don't have a problem with sizing. First, a person needs to be honest with their own measurements. The garment measurements are under Click Here. I have read that some don't believe them to be accurate but I have never had an issue.
I also know my own body type. Although I can be the same height and weight as another, some clothing items won't fit the same. Some brands just won't work for some people while it works for others.
My advice is to get your measurements, follow the garment measurement chart AND read reviews.
Like @haddon9 stated, all businesses can have sizing issues that don't work well for you. It can be difficult to buy online but once you find the designers you like you should have no issues.
And as @Bhvbum pointed out, pay attention to the fabric content. That plays a big part on fit. If it has stretch or no stretch, etc.

@patticakes. I have no issues with qvc sizing. I know what size I wear, I always order that size and it always fits. I know the chest and hip measurements I need and always check the actual garment measurements before buying just in case there is an abnormality, which there rarely is.
I don't know what else they can do to assure a good fit. I virtually never return anything due to size.

I haven't had problems with sizing since I always check the actual garment measurements as others have said. I never order 2 sizes to try. I also make sure I know my current measurements. You can do something to increase your probability of getting the right size but that requires you are proactive about it. Even then, there could be a manufacturing error with any vendor.

All on line sellers need to address sizing issues.
In the case of Q, you have to listen closely to the babble and then catch the special sizing considerations. Such as: size up if you want a looser fit, size down from your B&M sizing, this is no Q sizing or the one that makes no sense to me is: Suzie Q is 5'6" and is a L.
I try to read the reviews mainly for sizing but often the remarks relate to the item arrived wrinkled or there was an unpleasant odor.
I have shopped with Q for over 25 years and have all but stopped buying clothing from Q.

I don't buy much anymore .... but I have lately noted the size issue on blouses. Medium is often too big - even with my wide shoulders. (Fortunately, I was able to shrink one from Renee's Attitudes line.)
Pants are always too long ... but it's easy to fix that.

I always check measurements for each garment before ordering. I am mostly successful when I order tops, sweaters, jackets, dresses & blazers, although I have returned a few that were way off in fit for whatever reason.
Pants are a tougher online purchase for me. I'd rather try them on first before buying. I can always try to order more of a specific pant online if I know it already fits. I've done that several times.
