Hard to believe it is October! Boy this year has flown by. I got my first tax bill in the mail yesterday---so that will be my focus-for the next few months and then I get hit with vehicle registrations. Always something/someone needing payment.

I spent my morning taking the two smaller dogs to the vet for heartworm testing and shots. Took one kitty round one--and went back to get the second kitty round two. Took me three attempts to get her in the carrier and secured. First time had her in the carrier but the door wasn't latched, second time didn't get her in the carrier. Fortunately the carrier episode happened at home. Didn't want to repeat having to chase down a escapee like last year. Had to trick my CZ to get him in the vehicle--decided to put him in a carrier--as he doesn't like to ride--which was great. He cried a little but he's forgiven me--until pill time. He's eyeing my lunch!! He's giving me the "paw" sitting in my lap.

Need to get some kitty food for my dry food gal--the other prefers canned although she does eat kibble. And a few groceries. That's my shopping list.
