Shopaholics One Day At A Time (Tuesday, Nov. 28th)

Good Afternoon!  It is another nice day here -- warm and mostly sunny.  Off course, we could use some rain, but......  I'm back from the senior lunch program, and headed to the gym soon.  Then, I'll visit DH.  He has been so sleepy lately, so I'm hoping that he will be more awake today.

I signed up for a theater trip with the senior lunch program participants Friday after this.  I am sure it will be a Christmas theme, and it is very lighthearted.  No other purchases today, thank goodness.

Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Have a nice evening and please post if you have a chance!

Hugs,

Linda

@LindaLatte  Yes, here in NE Ohio is was mid-sixties and full sun today (very unusual for end of November).  On my lunch break I went outside and jogged 3 miles in shorts and a thin t-shirt.  I call this a bonus day!

Re: Shopaholics One Day At A Time (Tuesday, Nov. 28th)

Good evening ladies, hope all is well.

Linda -  Thank you for starting us today.  Hope DH is not as sleepy today.  You do take good care of him.   Hope you enjoy your theater trip, sounds like fun.

We got the Christmas lights up outside and decorations up inside.  It doesn't take long, we don't put up a lot of decorations.  I am the ultimate Scrooge, I wouldn't even put any up, but DH likes them.

We had a great day to put up outside decorations, it was in the 60's, could take this all winter.  Somehow, I have a feeling we will pay for this later in the winter.

Well need to go, dog is waiting for her supper.  Hope everyone has a great evening.

Linda--Thank you for starting the thread.  The theater trip sounds like great fun, something you deserve. I do hope DH is more awake today  when you visit.

I'm home from work. I spent time with the cutest kids in elementary school and wil be with them two more days before returning to the Middle School. The weather here is fabulous so I could handle this year-round but the story is that the 60s  will soon disappear next week when the more typical Winter-weather is expectrd.

I envy everyone's energy in decorating for the holidays That just isn't me. I'm relaxing with a sandwich and fruit for an easy dinner as I am tired. I guess I'll watch the WEN presentations tonight.

Hi everyone - I'm a big supporter of people doing as much - or as little - as they choose to do for the holidays.  I actually enjoy decorating, but only if I can take my time doing so.  Same thing with pretty much everything else around the holidays.  As long as I time things well and don't feel rushed or stressed, then I enjoy it.

Susan - I love the crockpot for making tough meat tender!  Linda-  hope that your DH is doing well today.  Jean - enjoy the rest of your day and watching Wen.  Did you like the Susan Graver TSV set of tops that you ordered a while back?

I've been getting a lot accomplished around the house yesterday and today.  Even while watching the sappy movies, I've been going through some old paper files, and I also went through some clothing.  Plus did some yard work and laundry.

meallen--Thanks for the cute graphic. You deserve some good sleep after all that decorating. I'm sure it is beautiful and you enjoy it.

Charlene--Yes, I got the SG turtlenecks and they are a great find and reasonable in price compared to some of her other tops. No WEN purchase tonight but had the TSV come in pomegranate instead of lavendar, I would have purchased it. Good job on your continued efforts to organize, declutter, etc

It was sunny and from what I heard really nice outside today here too.  Work continues to be hectic - it is, what it is.
