Good Morning Ladies! It is cloudy out today, but it should reach the upper 70's again this afternoon. Really prefer this weather to the cold, but I know some love cooler/cold weather.
One of DH's friends called me yesterday, and it was nice talking with him. But, I could understand why DH and he got into lots of disagreements, despite being very good friends. While DH never told me about all the trials he had at work (he was long retired by the time we met), his friend is still re-living problems from 20 plus years ago (he has been retired for 20 years). On the other hand, he is the only one of DH's friends who has kept up with him/me. That sort of interest is much appreciated.
I did make the fruitcake for DD yesterday evening, and now I will need to figure out how to mail it to her. I'm sure that I will figure it out sooner or later.
Sorry your DD had to euthanize so many animals in a row, Charlene. I'm sure it was not easy for her, but necessary.
Off to the gym soon. I'll visit DH this afternoon. Hopefully, the nurse will be there so we can discuss his sleepiness, etc.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Have a nice day, and post if you have a chance.
Hugs,
Linda

Linda--Thank you for starting the thread. It is interesting that your DH's friend is still in contact. Friendships are often determined by the work we do and when that work ceases because we move, change type of job, retire, etc., then friendships often fade away. I do hope the nurse is there when you visit DH so you can understand better what is causing his sleepiness.
meallen--Thank you for the lovely graphic. I hope you have had a great day.
I just got home from subbing at the elementary school where I have been for three days. Tomorrow, I go to the Middle School. So far, I don't have any jobs for next week but that might change. It is either feast or famine when it comes to work sometimes.
I am tired but not so tired tat I can't think clearly about the TSV. I had one of those Shiatsu massage things once. I quickly lost interest in using it,

I just realized that all my orders that I have placed with the Q have arrived. I received this evening that Floxite Lighted 5X travel mirror. I'm debating what to do with it. The light on it is so bright that it is actually hard to see. Turn the light off, the mirror then becomes very usable. Me thinks I will be checking elsewhere for a good travel mirror with magnification. The light would have been a nice touch but not when it is so right that you can't see. I just checked the reviews and see that I am not alone. It is a pretty mirror but not useful with the blinding light. V35322

Hello all,
yea @KonaKat the older I get the less I like a blinding light in my face. I have an old fashioned makeup mirror that I've had since I don't know when. It has a couple of settings and I need to tweeze chin hairs using the least blinding setting.
