I have a hunch QVC's S&H costs are beginning to cost them, as an ever greater number of shoppers catch on. "Wait a minute! I can order these same items or items just like them from other websites and not have to pay several dollars per item shipping and handling. So why am I shopping here?" Great question. Keep asking it.

Even some of QVC's most loyal, habitual shoppers may be waking up and realizing they're being had.

There's other sites that charge s&h charges unless you order a certain dollar amount. It's not like Q is the only one that charges.

RedConvertibleGirl - You nailed it. Many other online sites offer free s&h when you order a certain dollar amount. With QVC you pay s&h no matter how much you buy. And as many here say, the bloom is coming off the rose. We are not buying as much as we used to because of the s&h charges. We don't get any specials for being good customers. And yes, we are free to take our business elsewhere. Fashion is the first thing I stopped buying due to the s&h as well as fit/quality issues. I just don't want to end up paying $10-15 for the privilege of trying on two items.

I hardly buy anything from QVC anymore. I am so disappointed in them. It seems as their audience has grown they are resorting to selling cheaper and cheaply made products and jacking up the S/H (plus your state tax) to make it very prohibitive. They also came out with this 3.00 flat rate on clothes and 5.00 rate for other things and I see that has "gone out the window" too. They want to sell you a pair of Sketchers over and above the cost you can get in online at a big retailer, and then sneak in the now 5.00 S/H charge on a box of shoes that weigh nothing!  I am getting more and more disappointed in QVC. I will still buy a few things that I think are a good deal and I cannot find anywhere else but I am more and more careful with my purchases due to their pricing system. It really needs to be more reasonable. And now, about that S/H 3.00 flat rate?....hmmm, I'm waiting for a reply.

I have not made many QVC purchases in the last two years. And then it had to be clearance pricing. There are just too many other, more affordable places that offer comparable items.
