Thanks to QVC I found out about these tights and purchased them for about $39.  I really liked them but wished the price was a little lower.  I signed up for emails on the Sheertex site and they constantly have sales.  I purchased another pair from their site for $25 with free S&H on black Friday weekend.

I do not wear tights often; however, occasionally I do.  I'm very impressed with these being rip resistant.  I purchased a black pair from QVC and a nude pair from the Sheertex website.

In the event you do need a pair, I just wanted to give you a heads up to check out the Sheertex site rather than QVC for a better selection and better prices.

Re: Sheertex Rip Resist Tights

lol, Thank you so much for your post about these tights. I was just getting ready to start a thread asking about them myself. I've watched the presentation several times and wondered if they're really what they claim.  While I rarely, if ever wear hose or tights anymore, members of my family do & these could make a nice gift.

Re: Sheertex Rip Resist Tights

Thank you.  I do wear hosiery anytime I wear a dress or dress pants, usually every Sunday.  I normally just get the Leggs at the grocery store.  I was a bit disappointed though that it wasn't the patterned tights I had in my Wish List.  Do they have patterned tights?

@BunSnoop

Thanks for the info. I haven't heard of this brand.

Wolford is another premium brand that's expensive recommended by some people. I haven't splurged on those yet. I usually buy whatever brand I can find at TJMaxx or Marshall's.

I wear opaque tights in fall and winter. I wear them with skirts and dresses sometimes when it's too cold for sheer hose or bare legs.

Re: Sheertex Rip Resist Tights

I was able to finally navigate the site and purchased one pair of stockings.  I really did have a problem navigating the site and couldn't find a size chart to save my soul.  I did use the one on the QVC site and hope it's accurate.  I can't imagine why I had such trouble can anyone offer any suggestions.  I definitely am not a computer whiz but I have never had an issue like this before.  Thank you so much.

Re: Sheertex Rip Resist Tights

I HATE wearing nylon hosiery. Do these have a cotton feel to them, or are they tight slippery nylon?  If I could get away with wearing soft wooly tights like my kids had, I would.

Re: Sheertex Rip Resist Tights

If you look up what they are made of and you google it you'll see what makes them rip resistant is plastic. I looked it up a couple weeks ago wondering what they were made of that makes them so tough. It's plastic!
