They all read a report of the forums that is generated. Mike George talked about this in his blog post when he joined a number of years ago. This forum is downloaded to a document and sent for the hosts and vendors to read.

I do hope they delete the stuff like the fiestaware threads ;o)

Some of the vendors, like Leslie Blodgett, do a google alert on key words.

The incident may have been silly but making a joke about it while working on tv is unprofessional at best. Making a joke out of people is never cool.

seems now that LR is gone, Shawn has taken over as the host they love to "hate".

I am sure glad I didn't have every person in my office looking over my shoulder critiquing every single thing I said or did. What a shame.

I love Shawn and think she's a breath of fresh air...but there will always be those who feel the need to find fault about everything she does, says, or wears. Just like Lisa, Patty, Pat, Jane, etc where and still are targets. Ugliness and negativity are the primary objectives. Not sure how it's helpful or healthy...but this is the world we live in.

Not a good thing to make jokes and decide to fight back with customers.
