Some like to wear their clothing very fitted and some like a more lose and comfortable look.
I hate tight clothing but I dislike the look of baggy pants that hang in the rear and front area.
I saw a woman shopping last week that had a sweater on that was so tight it showed every lump and bump plus it was so short her spare tire was hanging out over her pants. It really looked ridiculous to me but I guess she liked it. She didn't look one bit uncomfortable dressed like that.
I have seen models and hosts with jackets on that couldn't possibly be buttoned that have a 5 inch gap in front. That's not a good look to me.
Long story short different strokes for different folks. They must like what they see when they look in the mirror.

I agree that Shawn often wears the items she is selling in a size that is too small. I have seen tops pull across the bust and pants that pull across the butt and cause the pockets to stick out.
If XXS is all they have for her to put on, either DON'T put it on, or tell the audience that you should be in an XS.
Wearing clothes that do not fit properly does not help sell the items, and can hurt sales. If I were a vendor, I would surely want the host to showcase the clothing in the best possible way.
If she wants to squeeze into her own clothing off the air, that is certainly her prerogative. We have all seen women out and about wearing clothing that is too small. It is not a good look.

I know this post is old and probably been beaten to death. But it reminded me of a situation ages ago.
I was in a shoe store and the lady in front of me was trying on a shoe. She said it fit perfectly, felt very comfortable and looked good. Then she noticed it was a size 8 and she wore a 7.
The clerk told her they were out of size 7 and this was her only choice. She was adamant that she wore a size 7. The lady would not buy the shoes because they were a size too large.
Moral of the story repose like what they like even if it does not look good and you can't change their mind.

@Susan345 yes this is an older post, and cruelly beaten to death. Love the story tho. I have known women, and a man who was like that! That said, television is really deceiving on sizes, it adds 10-15 lbs easy. I hate it. One, and if the wrong camera is on you...you are dead meat, no kidding . I don't watch tv, I buy online. I have seen her videos when looking tho. Tightness could be camera angle, or she just wears clothes tight. I have a friend who wears smaller clothes, not so much about size, she says she hates them hanging on her. I am thinking, well, I have another opinion on what' hanging clothes might look like. As far as size she could be xs, qvc runs a size larger than BM

Let them say what they want. I know what size I wear and that's all that matters to me😊.

Shawn is a size small. I watched her on the Barefoot Dreams show yesterday. Maria was in an xs and Shawn was in small. You could tell she's a little bigger and taller than Maria, so it seems size appropriate.
Later she had on a Barefoot Dreams dress and it looked great on her. She then switched from a dark colored one to a pink one.
Sorry people, no rolls, no saddlebags, no lumpy cellulite, no muffin top, no gut. She looked great in it. Not that someone with the aforementioned wouldn't look good....

I also saw Shawn in the pink Barefoot Dreams dress but I thought that once again it was a size too small. Although she didn't have any lumps and bumps, the dress did not hang right on her. The bottom hem caved in around her ankles because the dress was too tight around her thighs. In contrast, the dress looked perfect on Maria.
@Saffron1 - Maria always looks great in her Barefoot Dreams outfits!

I watched the video of the dress Shawn's dress was not too small at all. The color was gorgeous. She looked great in it. In fact the other girl in light pink, dress was much tighter. It looked great on her too though. Watch video. You can size up if you like looser The other girls were just the same ....it is a body con dress. IMO, the way the man, and the girl with blond blond hair were talking the dress fit like that, and they all sized up from usual BFD clothing. Personally my opinion is a little more negative of Barefoot dreams, the material is load of pilly doo doo. Unless they have changed their fabrication in last several years, the stuff pills. For the money it doesn't look good after several wearing. JMO. And my experience. I buy baby blankets from them,or I say I did. I found another brand, a little pricier, but wears better .

Shawn said recently she was wearing a Size 0 in pants.
They were stretch pants.
Stretch pants can be stretched sometimes 6-8 inches, and she uses up all the stretch.
Models and hosts should be as accurate as possible giving sizes, b/c the customer lets that help them.
Shawn has lost weight and is proud of that, but that doesn't help the customer just to make her feel good.
