I love wearing them in the cold months although I don't know how to do all the intricate ways of styling them. When I worked, I used to wear them all the time. They make a better presence than mere jewelry. I have a few of my mother's, who passed in the 90s, but don't wear them often. I've got some nice wool ones that I wear often with my winter coats; they sure add the necessary warmth for me to have my neck warm. I don't have much need for them now that I don't go out each day but I always feel that I look nice when I wear them. Didn't even realize they were in or out of fashion but I'm not one to follow trends.

@Carolina925   Pinterest has some great videos on tying scarves. Just search under "scarf tying" or something similar.

Scarves have always been in season, they will never disappear from the world of fashion. I love to wear a scarf, I have tons of them too. I've gone through my collection and have given a few away to a friend many years ago. I'll never give up wearing a great scarf.

I try not to be super influenced by trends.  As long as something is in good taste, who exactly is dictating what anyone wears?  I have a scarf collection I wear with coats and jackets.  Otherwise, I prefer to wear jewelry as a fashion statement.

Talbot's also has some pretty scarves, and just bought one on sale.  After putting it away for a while, I am now wearing my Pandora bracelet all the time  - turquoise colored beads and loaded with charms.  My DH brought me to a jewelry store right after my mom had died so I could pick out all charms meaningful to my life.  I could care less if it is style or not.

When did scarves go away?   I think for those of us who accessorize with silk or chiffon scarves, they are classic.  They never went anywhere.  And never will.  You don't see them much in the summer but this summer, I have seen many women accessorizing their handbags with scarves and wearing them as belts.  Isaac still does scarves.  I featured them with the quilted barn jacket.  As he always does.

I have never cared for scarves of any kind.
