I was pleasantly surprised the store actually looked "stocked".  There were plenty of pallets in the rafters which is a stark reversal of a couple weeks ago.

In clothing, for some reason, they are mixing the men's with the women's which makes it awfully tough to find.

There are new fall below the elbow t-shirts but honestly they are really thin.  Plenty of Member's Mark leggings with the 4" waistband of various fabric weights. New vests in white, black and gold.  The coats are out.  I really like the popcorn arm sweaters in white, black and fuschia.  Today, I bought a reverse fleece joggers and sweatshirt in light purple both priced at $16.99/ea which is a jump in price for Sam's clothing.  Plenty of lightweight jackets, shorts and work out tops.  Waffle weave oversized throws discounted to $14 and change.  Heavier fleece throws priced around $13, they have a lot of stock on those, probably will be a black friday price.

The rest of the store was pretty well stocked which surprised me.  Samples of Donut Shop coffee brewed in a Kuerig and it was really good coffee.  They had samples of the Members Mark fresh pork/beef meatball rolled in parm cheese and that was really salty, one small bite and that was enough.

Kettle sets piled sky high.  Small upright frig's plenty in stock.  Only 4 package of Northern, 6 pkgs of Charmin and about 12 pkgs of Scott's remain, that was it for tp.  Plenty of members mark paper toweling, only brand left   BTW, limit 1 each

Christmas paper plates and napkins in the store, some Holiday decorations, jewelry cases were filled but were spaced far apart from each other to make it look like the case was filled.

Busy today for a Thursday.  Lots of water going out the door and many of the carts were piled pretty high.

@Mistreatedbycs  We just joined and I was impressed by what I saw.  We do not have a  Sam's near us, so it will be a once per month trip, but the store was well stocked.  We have BJ's and Costco, and I like that each store has different items.  Today, I received a Sam's email, and I saw a tres leches cake.  Just might be worth the 40 mile drive to pick one up.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@SXMGirl

I saw that cake !!!     It looks delicious!

I'm making a Black Forest Torte this weekend for my special day so I opted to bake something rather than buy it.

Oh my, I forgot to mention, Sam's has BOTH Magazines from Taste of Home titled Holiday Cookies and Holiday Desserts.   Bought both

of them.

Delish has a Holiday Cookie Magazine too but as I just paged through, I didn't like a one so I passed on that one.

Cable news channels are trying to start another panic and will probably succeed . Blaming the freighters stranded then showing bare shelves and crying that they will be no Xmas .

People will go on full alert now and we will have another crisis like during the height of the pandemic.

I blame the media for all this panic and worrying. Looks like they could focus on something else besides scaring people into creating a crisis.

I haven't been in Sam's Club since the clothing they had out was still summer stuff and not a lot of it.  I was hoping the winter offerings would be better.

I have been stalking on-line to see when they will get the Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee.  It was shown in a recent flyer but it's still not in store or on-line.  As soon as that hits the store, I will go in and look around.
