Slub knit pieces from all vendors on the Q do not appeal to me. IMHO they also look cheap. But the price points don't reflect that. Hosts talk about fast fashions, not being good investments. Slub knit looks exactly what I consider fast fashions looks.

I am not thrilled with it either.  It is too thin in my opinion.

I purchased two of Kim Gravel's slub knit tee shirt dresses this season.  I absolutely love them, as they are cool, comfortable and still looked great at the end of the day.   They also laundered beautifully.  Both Chicos and Talbots are showing many slub knit items but i'm sure not all quality is equal.

I'm not a huge fan of the material either though they have said it is more expensive to make it.  One time I heard Logo Lori say that making a thinner fabric costs more than a thicker fabric??   Whatever the reasoning, it performs poorly IMO and at times is not flattering.

Have 3 long cardigans in this fabric and love the comfort.  Saw some 3/4 sleeved ones at Costco for an incredible price.  Next day, they were all gone.  However, reviews on Costco.com say they develop holes by the second or third wash.  So I guess they are what my spouse calls 'disposable fashion'.

I love slub knit and have so many teesmany brands.  They are comfy and cool, wash nice with no wrinkles! I do not look at clothing as an investment - just something I .

I LOVE Land's End slub knit tops! They are wonderful and I sleep in them. On sale they are a superb value in today's world.

They are thin and cool, good enough to wear for sleep or just at home, and wash well on cold for me.

I also am one who likes slub knit.  It's airy and cool.  It is cotton but it's just the texture that makes it look that way.  Do you feel cottong is cheap also?

I too love slub knit.  When it first came out in the 70's and I bought my first shirt made of slub knit,  I wore it until it fell apart.  Over the years finding slub knit became almost impossible.  I am happy its back!
