Leah's wearing a green short sleeve jacket that has been on clearance and many shows forever.

Can anyone explain your body being warm but your arms hanging out facing cooler weather?

Yes, you can call it your "third piece which completes the outfit" but certainly not practical IMO.

Re: SHORT SLEEVE JACKET?

I do not care for that jacket. It's too puffy and something Smiley Happy Didn't care for it when they introduced it last year (it seems) and like it less and less each time it is shown. Sorry...
However, I will say that at one time I had some more tailored type short sleeve jackets that I used for looks but not for warmth.

Updated: I forgot to mention that I love vests. They are my go to with a sweater underneath. Living in Central Florida, I don't need a lot but we do get cold here.

I never understood why after being presented and price lowered so many times, these items aren't donated to a charity. If the price is way below half, it's obvious it isn't going to sell out.

I think they look awful--no matter what they are made of or who designs them ---would not buy one---I want FULL sleeves on my jackets--or I will wear a vest---the in-between thing is silly. I live where is gets cold and it rains alot and I don't drive anymore but walk most places,  so that thing is useless.

Leah seems to often take one for the team.  That jacket and the purse together are not her best look this morning.

@Shanus I have that jacket in two colors, and I would buy all of the colors if I didn't have an outerwear surplus.  The sleeves are three quarter but for some bizarre reason Bitsy rolls them up a couple of times.

Let me start by saying I am a cape, poncho, wrap person.  This lightweight jacket is perfect when you're wearing oversized sweaters, tops with funky, voluminous sleeves, etc.  I would call it more of a spring/fall jacket (I'm in CT) so worrying about freezing in it isn't really an issue.  There are people who size down in it (read the reviews)  because God forbid they wear anything with some volume.  It has an artsy feel, IMO, and that doesn't appeal to everyone.

I've seen these short puffer jackets out in retail too.

People buy puffer vests with no sleeves and they have for years.

The short sleeve jackets are similiar.  there is not much difference.  Some people don't like sleeves.  Maybe they like these items for driving, or maybe they overheat in long sleeves.  Who knows?

Several years ago I purchased a couple of Martha Stewart's Quilted Short Sleeve Puffed Vests, it's perfect for CA weather and running around doing errands.  Not a fan of the short sleeve jacket currently being shown today.  For those who purchased, enjoy and wear it in good health.

My sis has several no sleeve, short sleeve vest or jackets like these.

When she goes from the house to a car to something inside....she doesn't want a big parka.

Often, the store, event, restaurant is still Cold....but eating, shopping etc with a full parka is a pain.  The sleeves are so cumbersome.

This way, she keeps it on and has full arm movement!

I want one now!  (Not this one though)
