SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (WEDNESDAY, MAY 22)

Good morning, shopping friends. I haven't seen the Q for a couple of days. When I signed in, I saw the TSV of an outdoor rocking chair or something like that. I would have to see a presentation to know more.

I just came in from trimming the shrubbery which I had to quit because of the hot sun and my heart rate. I'll venture out later and try to get more done before the rumored rain arrives again.

I went to the city on Tuesday to see the vet and again yesterday to get groceries, yard equipment, etc. and cat supplies. Midnight is an aging cat so he is developing some of the problems associated with aging. I have to give him prescription food with a lot of fiber in it. This is the dry food version since he wouldn't eat the wet version. While I was in Australia, they tried the wet version with him and he ate it for them but not me.

I need to venture back outside and tackle the shrubbery which is benefitting from my much longer outdoor extension cord. I had a shorter one but your truly cut it in the trimmer when I didn't see that it had slipped.

Have a great day. If you shop, shop wisely.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (WEDNESDAY, MAY 22)

Jean @KonaKat   thanks for starting the thread today and giving us an update about Midnight.  When I didn't see a post from you yesterday I started to get a little worried about Midnight and you (of course).

It's raining here yet again.  The forecast for the rest of the week into Memorial Day is not looking good and I really hope I get a window of time where my grass is dry enough to mow it.

Please take care in the heat with that hedge trimmer.

Bernie--I do hope the weather permits you to get your lawn done before the holiday weekend.

I did get the major manicuring done on the boxwoods in front. I still have to fine tune them and pick up the clippings.

The vet called me this afternoon to discuss Midnight in more detail.

I do hope Linda has had a safe trip home with no major hiccups on the trip.

Jean @KonaKat   does doctor think that the dry food will be of benefit to Midnight or would you rather not talk about it?  I don't want to pry and I also don't want you to think I'm not paying attention or that I am not interested. Heart

Good Evening and thanks for getting us started, Jean.  I really hope the vet can find a good solution for Midnight.  Glad you got some hedge trimming done.

Part of the time I was in Maryland/DC it was chilly and rainy, then it turned hot and humid, then it was nice.  The weather here has been cooler than normal -- pretty strange.  I think it will be warmer starting this weekend.

Sorry you are having the rain which makes your mowing difficult, Bernie.  I changed planes in Denver (both ways), and they had snow yesterday.  It was only 33 degrees when we landed there today.

All went well with the flights home, except for having such an early flight and not sleeping well last night.  I'm pushing myself to stay up until a somewhat normal time, but......

Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Sleep well.

Hugs,

Linda
