I'm with you on the no excitement around here - it's a good thing. Give me dull and boring any day :-)
I had the strangest vivid dream last night and wouldn't you know I can't remember the details after being at work this long today. It was one of those dreams where either somebody took something from me or was preventing me from getting to something. I think I was doing alot of running in the dream.
I did have an odd dream last week that I heard tapping on an upstairs window. My house is like a U shape. Family room of house in on a slab. In the dream, there was a guy with some young teenagers on the roof of the family room, tapping on the bedroom windows upstairs with a pipe. I pulled the blinds, saw the intruders on the roof, opened the windows and pushed them off the roof, rofl.
It's only one story so I doubt they died, he he. That dream woke me up at 1 am.

Bernie--A dream analyst could have a field day with your dream. I agree that dull and boring is far more acceptable than the excitement created by a theft, etc. We do what we can to protect our pets despite what we might do to ourselves in the process.
Linda--I am so sorry to hear about DH's decline. People are affected by the disease in various ways and at different rates. I know that the unknown has got to be placing stress in your life. He is receiving good care but it is difficult to see the decline.
Twinny--Enjoy your outing with DH to enjoy the polka band, etc. The weather has been unpredictable for many of us, and it has affected many types of businesses. I know the time will fly until your vacation trip so you must be mentally planning for it.
meallen--Love the graphic. I get a charge when some women say they have their items shipped elsewhere so the significant other won't swee all their purchases.
I spent a couple of hours reading, and then got a call from the Ohio Valley Surgical Center. They went over my medical record plus overview of the bladder and kidney scopes next Wednesday for check of possible cancer return. This is a normal procedure following bladder cancer removal as it easily returns. I will spend Valentine's Day on the "throne" as I do a cleanse for the scope procedure the next day. Happy Valentine's Day to me!

Hello friends - Jean - sorry to hear about your fall, hope you won't be too sore afterwards. Did the coffee make a mess? Doesn't sound like you'll have a very happy Valentine's Day, lol. Marijane - that is a bummer about the stolen car. We've had 2 stolen through the years. Both were recovered, but damaged. Linda - sorry that your DH is struggling. Tip: if the caregivers always have him dressed and with shoes on before you get there, it's a good idea to occasionally check him without clothes to make sure he's not developing bed sores. Check his feet to make sure that pedicures are being done. Continued prayers for you and your hubby. twinny - I appreciate the words about caregiving for a mother. My mother also prefers my DH to me. I think she views him as a capable adult, whereas she sees me as the child. meallen - that graphic is funny and hits just a bit too close to home, hee hee. Bernie - hope Grayson enjoys his little slide across the room! Sometimes your descriptions make me laugh out loud.
I was glad to stay home today and just putter around the house. I did notice today that with the rain we've been getting, we're also getting a bumper crop of weeds. I'm going to have a lot of work to do in the garden one of these days.
Waves to all ~ Charlene

Charlene--No aches from the fall and just a slight bruise so far. The coffee landed on the carpeting so I spot cleaned it. Hopefully, when it dries it will be acceptable. It is a struggle dealing with an ailing parent. I took care of my mother in the few weeks before she had to enter the hospital on Mother's Day of all times. To her, I became the woman who was staying there to take care of her. She went down hill rapidly after her first born son died.

Hey Charlene @cerb, glad I could bring a smile to your face.
Jean @KonaKat I'm sorry you have to prep like that for a bladder scope - never knew that kind of prep was required.
