Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, JUNE 23)

Twinny - whooohooo!!  Jean, it's so good to be able to get that info firsthand now.  My Dr asked for a follow up from my bloodwork, and I'm not at all surprised.  She had concerns 3 years ago at my last physical and wanted me back in 3mo but I have avoided the issue.  lol  My insurance has been good about paying but a couple of our providers have supplied multiple claims so I am waiting to see which one they send us.

LInda I'm so happy to hear that they were good to DH today.

I bought some spicy "salsa" chicken at the deli the other day when picking up my ham.  So far have used it in a hamburger helper type (local grocery) meal (HEB's King Ranch Chicken) and it was delicious, and tonight made quesadillas - along with some guacamole dip and pasta salad.  It was a colorful dinner and delicious as well.  DH is very happy to have me home, as am I.  I found it very difficult to cook for one all that time.

Bernie, remind me how many birds you have.

I found a rescue group to take DD's Britanny Spaniel.  With her moving to CO, and seeing how happy he is to be with someone and how lonely he has been with her gone all the time, we thought he needed to be rehomed.  I don't really love him that much and don't want another dog, so I am committed to finding him a new home.

Kathleen - I have 3 birds, two sparrows and a pigeon.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.
