Hi Everyone!

It's hot and sunny (again) today. Same is predicted for tomorrow. The wasps are buzzing around the patio so the Dyna traps are going up over the weekend. Next week is to be cool temps so I'm crossing my fingers that happens. 

I saw two bunnies (full grown) these last two weeks. The one is as big as the neighborhood cat. Hoping the bunny's home is in the woods and not in one of the gardens. LOL The deer have been sleeping in between the holly bushes on the side hill. I would not have believed it until I saw it. They have it flattened down so the holly bush is not touchihing them. That's another "first" for them and us. I'm assuming that there's just too much debris in the woods and the other neighbors yards where they all spread out for night time.

I haven't seen much of the Q lately. The patio umbrellas are up so the dogs like to have a morning snooze on the patio. Crossing my fingers we see flowers blooming. I did cave and order a Convert a chair for the back yard to replace that old bench we have. I like to have some seating back there for the hubby to take a rest when he's doing yard work or if we have  workmen here. I'm really pleased with the older benches that we have so it should work well. 

Shipping seems to be a bit of a "mess" again. I couldn't even track a few items. Nothing came up on the screen. I did the live chat and at least found out where the pastries were. The other two items  may appear today. Crossing my fingers that the beach pants show for the DIL's mother's day gift.

Good Evening and thanks for getting us started, Fressa.  Hope your weather improves and you like the chair that you ordered.  I have to admit that I was interested, but realized I very seldom sit outdoors.  And, it is so hot here that the paint on plastic chairs comes off in a few years.  Not good if you or a guest sits on a chair. 

Interesting about the bunnies and deer.  I have seen several bunnies lately, but they are not large.

As predicted, it is cooler (highs in the low 80's) and windy here.  Plus there is an air quality alert.  My eyes and nose are not happy, so I have the windows shut and air purifiers going.  It is only supposed to make it into the 70's tomorrow.

It seems like my JR sweater has made it to Arizona already.  Sorry your shipping isn't as fast.

Yesterday, I helped prepare some things for the memorial service hospice is having tomorrow, and then I delivered supplies.  Today, I went back and spent a few hours helping prepare some more things for the service.  I have volunteered to be at the church tomorrow morning at 8:30 and stay until 12:30 -- helping to set up, greet the families, and serve the refreshments (light lunch) afterwards.  I have a bookclub meeting tomorrow afternoon, so I will not be helping with clean-up.

I went to the gym late today, and then bought gasoline -- up to $3.79 a gallon and only headed higher.  Oh well....

Jean said the weather was nice in her area today, and she is looking forward to her follow-up visit on the 21st.

LindaLatte---Sounds like your gas prices are similar to ours. That price range always gives me a knot in my stomach. 

You keep so busy with all your volunteer work. I'm happy to hear that you have the book club. I love to read. It's my "treat" to me when I have everything done. (or need a break from it all.
