Hi Everyone!
It a bit snowy and icy today with cold temps and some clouds. More of the same is predicted for the week. We are in the path for the big storm that were talking about on Friday. I hope I have enough spurts between the conditions to finish all my errands. Crossing my fingers.
Today I started wrapping presents and checking off the lists. I finished the cards yesterday and then today had that random thought of a few people that I didn't have on the list. I keep cutting it back every year since postage, etc. increased.
I still have packages to be received with one posting that it will be late. I'm still holding out hope that it will get here in time.
The deer have returned to their winter bed spots in the woods next to our side yard. Always an indication that the other "wilder" wildlife is far away. Love to see that fact reconfirmed.
The revised placement and system for the small gifts for the UPS/FedEX/etc. delivery people worked well this season. I'm down to the last couple of gifts so I'm pleased. (especially the ones that carry the dog chow bags). That was much more efficient than trying to catch them as they were on the way up/down the driveway.
I've read all the posts and everyone has been so busy with baking and chores and entertaining. Glad to see everyone having some fun in the middle of weather woes and other woes.
My BF and her DH were driving to FL to spend the holidays with there DD. I have my fingers crossed that they avoid that storm that was moving around in that area. They both are over all of their injuries but caught covid (again) at the beginning of the week. She said they would wait to make the trip until they were better.
Have a good evening.

Good Evening and thanks for getting us started, Fressa. Hope the weather is not too bad, and you are able to complete your errands Glad you have been able to get so much done, and the small gifts for delivery people have worked out again. Good luck to your BF and husband.
I think (not sure) my oldest DGS and his wife are going to visit her family in Maryland for Christmas and then fly down to visit DD and family for New Years Eve. And, DH's DD told me that she and her younger daughter are flying to New York City for Christmas Eve since Christmas was the only day she could visit one of her friends who had a baby. Sounds like travel could make these plans very difficult.
The neighborhood party was nice, and I took a walk in the neighborhood. Then I did some cooking and ironing. I am not a big soccer fan, but I watched much of the World Cup finals before I went to church. Very exciting game.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Hope everyone sleeps well.
Hugs,
Linda
